Norway’s best AS is hiring for several positions as steward/dishwasher at Fretheim Hotel in Flåm.

As a steward you will be a vital part of our kitchen team. Your main objective will be to secure smooth operations in our kitchen and restaurant by ensuring a well-organized and safe kitchen. You will also assist with deliveries, proper waste management and giving the chefs a helping hand when needed.

Fretheim Hotel is in Flåm where you get a close encounter with the local culture through decor, locally sourced food and tastes and fantastic nature. We are a proud member of the Historic Hotels and Restaurants and have in recent years been ranked in the top 5 historic hotels in Norway. We operate a restaurant, 122 rooms, a state-of-the-art conference area, a fitness room as well as a cozy and well visited lobby bar.

Work tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Being a great team-mate
  • Providing support to kitchen team
  • Keeping a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
  • Handling deliveries, restocking storages
  • Ensuring correct waste management

Requirements for the position  

  • English language on a communicative level
  • Permission to work within the EU
  • Work experience from similar position in a hotel or restaurant

Work period: April/May – September/October

The work periods will vary and will be discussed individually. Some positions will start in April and some in May. Some will run to September and some until October.
