Norway’s best AS is hiring for several positions as chefs at our hotels and restaurants in Flåm, Aurland and Lærdal for the Season 2025.

Bakkastova Cafe, Flåm

Hotel Aurlandsfjord, Aurland

Sognaporten, Aurland

Laksen Cafe and bakery, Lærdal

Our different properties have different concepts but the red thread through all our restaurants is the core of our Food Philosophy: Locally produced and in season.

Working as a chef with us, you will join highly skilled teams of chefs and pastry chefs with diverse backgrounds. We all share the passion for good food and produce and value sharing our knowledge and experience.  In our restaurants we provide our guests with excellent food with a local story and a beautiful backdrop.

Work period: April/May - September/October

The work periods will vary and will be discussed individually. 

Work tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent food experiences
  • Being a great team-mate
  • HACCP compliance
  • Focus on reducing food waste

Requirements for the position  

  • Permission to work within the EU 
  • Formal training as a chef (documented results and long experience can compensate for lacking training)
  • Relevant work experience
  • English, communicative level
