Norway's best is looking for Pizza bakers and chefs to our bakeries and cafe for the summer season 2026

Are you looking for a seasonal job that gives you a combination of valuable experience and growth opportunities as well as direct access to spectacular nature and the chance to meet great people from all around the world? Norway’s best AS is hiring for several positions as Pizza bakers and chefs at our bakeries and restaurants in Flåm, Aurland and Lærdal for the summer.

At our bakeries and cafes we deliver high quality bread, pastries, pizza, burgers and light dishes to both locals and tourists. We are proud to run two craft bakeries and cafes where guests stand in line on summer mornings to get fresh produce. We have a wide range of products including traditional Norwegian sweet buns and international classic pastries. In addition, our guests can find local juices, sandwiches, and great barista coffee during their visit. All products are made from scratch by our enthusiastic bakers, “pizzaiolos” and chefs sold across the counter to locals and tourists in the picturesque villages of Flåm, Aurland and Lærdal.

Work tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Baking delicious pizza
  • Preparing burgers and light dishes
  • Contribute to a safe, open and enjoyable work environment
  • Various kitchen tasks
  • Close collaboration with the other kitchen and service team
  • Keeping a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
  • Ensuring proper waste management

Work period: April/May – September/October

The work periods will vary and will be discussed individually. Some positions will run to September and some until October.

Workplace: Flåm Bakery (Flåm), Sognaporten Kafe (Aurland) or Laksen Bakery and Café (Lærdal)

Requirements for the position  

  • Permission to work within the EU
  • Relevant work experience from a pizzeria or bakery
  • Formal training is appreciated, but not a requirement
